I think the most important part of our celebration was the presentation by author Adam Collings.
His talk on California from different perspectives
was truly a tribute to the history of California.

It is diverse, not always pleasant, and not always seen in the same perspective by those who lived through the times.
I enjoyed the event and felt proud to be a Native Son of the Golden West.
